About Me.
I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of rental and field service companies throughout my career. From small "mom and pop" shops to global, multi-company enterprises, I have worked to get them operational on their new systems.
Early in my career, I was a Service Manager at a large mechanical contractor in Kansas City. We specialized in service of large HVAC equipment and managed full-maintenance contracts for large businesses complexes.
I started my "IT career" in the IBM Mid-Range days of the System 36 and AS/400. Having followed the industry through the DOS/UNIX/Windows operating system and now into the world of Cloud Computing, it has been quite a journey.
I also worked among the pioneers of mobile computing in the days of ARDIS and RAM Mobile Data, prior to today's cell and satellite networks. This enabled field workers to do their jobs remotely, long before low-cost devices and data came along.
